Charmaine L. Smith is from a quiet island in The Bahamas, where books became her true friends from an early age. When she wasn’t busy reading, she spent her days climbing the enormous sapodilla trees to watch passing ships and dream of distant discoveries. Charmaine has never lost that wanderlust, and she loves how sharing stories lets her explore new horizons with her readers.
