Audra Tynes is a passionate language arts teacher in the public school system of The Bahamas. With a strong academic background, she has earned a Bachelor of Arts in English, a Diploma in Education (Secondary Certification), and a Master of Applied Social Sciences in Urban Education, with a concentration in Reading. Her dedication to education is evident in her commitment to helping students excel in literacy and language arts.
Audra's Accomplishments
Audra is not only an educator but also an accomplished author. She has written three impactful books: Givin’ ‘Em Somethin’ to Think About, In Times Like These, and Freedom Fights. Her literary work reflects her deep understanding of social issues and her desire to inspire positive change. Audra's contributions to education and literature have been recognized with the prestigious Teacher of the Year award for 2015-2017 at her school.
Beyond her professional achievements, Audra is actively involved in her church community. She serves as a youth advisor and Sunday School Superintendent, where she also teaches. Her dedication to mentoring young people and fostering their spiritual growth is a testament to her commitment to making a difference in every aspect of her life.
