Money Gat A Mind A He Own
Portia Sands
You ever plan your money; every cent you say how you ga spend?
Then this same money what you plan, suddenly comes to an abrupt end?
I know when I get my pay, I say where I want my money ta go.
The strangest thing is when the money finish; where it gone… you still don’t know!
The money does break off a running, from right under your nose.
When you say this for light, and water, and rent; that unruly money does run toward clothes.
It’s no use you waste time planning; just like I tell my friend on the phone;
It don’t make sense to hurt ya head, when the money gat a mind a he own.
How the money want to spend, he ga spend; chile … een no stopping them.
That’s why you outsmart them money, I does hide ‘lil something in ma hem.
