Teri M. Bethel
Author and ghostwriter Teri M. Bethel was born and raised in Nassau, Bahamas. She has published about 40 books in multiple genres, including coloring books for adults and children and various journals (view the collection at www.TeriBethel.com). Teri is a literacy advocate, newspaper columnist, and Publisher at InspirePublishing.org. In addition to her writing, Teri is a professional Interior Designer, having graduated from the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in Los Angeles, California. As a self-taught artist, her love for art and creatives led her and her husband Tellis to enter the light industries field to manufacture original hand-painted resort wear, which later led to manufacturing her distinctive line of Teri Monique hand-painted designer handbags.
Trainer of Artisans
Teri has trained new and seasoned artisans in her unique style of texture painting on fabric for wearable art clothing, purses, and shoes, as well as creating boutique-quality structured handbags. This was done through live and virtual classes from PaintWithTexture.com to accommodate students in the Bahamas and around the world. Now retired from production and training, Teri makes her fabric painting and purse-making training video tutorials available free of charge to the general public and, to the Ministry of Education for use in classrooms throughout the Bahamas.
Both in daily living and in her books, Teri seeks to encourage and empower people to be their best. Teri is passionate about her relationship with the Lord and believes His completely contagious love is the key to transforming lives. She and her husband, Tellis, have served in various aspects of ministry, including Marriage, Youth, and Women’s Ministry. She is a believer in the full gospel of the kingdom, which includes signs and wonders. She is married to fellow author Commodore Tellis A. Bethel Sr. The couple has two sons.

The Church Girl And The Priest
“Once I started reading The Church Girl And The Priest, I didn’t want to put it down. I was completely drawn into the story. This book was honest in capturing relatable characters, events, family, and church dynamics, and it brought clarity and understanding to a few areas I had questions about. Well done!”
