FISHERMAN
Anna L. Lewis
Ocean breeze, deep blue seas
Tides steady rising 6 a.m.
Time to head slowly towards the horizon.
Some days good
While some days not so well
But thank goodness each day
I make a market to sell.
We're blessed to have such natural resources
From which we can glean
Our crystal blue water so nice and pristine.
From Mutton Snappers to Grouper
Even Mahi Mahi too
All found beneath our waters
Down in the ocean blue.
I am a fisherman, a very proud one too
The water is my office space
From there I bring the fish to you.
